Profs. Susanne Stephenson and John Loree led the EMU ceramic department for a generation, leading to a large cadre of students who subsequently went out and greatly impacted the landscape of education, ceramics and art generally. Their dedication and diligence in the classroom led to a large contingent of ceramic alumni who subsequently went on to influence the regional and national art scene as educators, artists and professionals. This show features work from over 25 of these alumni. It is co-curated by Steve Glazer (BFA 1976), Instructor of Art, Director of Exhibitions, Henry Ford College. A concurrent exhibition is being hosted at Sisson Art Gallery at Henry Ford College.

Featuring seventy-four politically based posters from twenty-three countries, The Posters of Discontent is set to spur discussion and discourse.
