Exhibition: Hybrid Forms & Interdisciplinary Practice

BFA candidate Jeremy Walbridge’s work entitled Mummified Remains of a Childhood Memory will be on display in Hybrid Forms & Interdisciplinary Practice at Hokin Gallery in Chicago, IL. The piece was selected by guest juror Buzz Spector.

Buzz Spector works in a wide range of mediums including sculpture, photography, printmaking, book arts, and installation. Spector’s work has been shown in numerous museums and galleries including: Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, the Art Institute of Chicago, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Corcoran Gallery of Art (Washington, D.C.), and the Luigi Pecci Center for Contemporary Art (Prato, Italy). The recipient of numerous awards and fellowships, Spector was honored with the College Art Association’s Distinguished Teaching of Art Award in 2013. He is currently Professor of Art at the Sam Fox School at Washington University in St. Louis.
