Emergent Effect

Emergent Effect, curated by EMU alumni and the founders of Ypsi Alloy Studios, highlights the intersecting work and common voice of 16 of the studio's resident artists.

Exhibition curators Ilana Houten, Elize Jekabson, and Jessica Tenbusch launched Ypsi Alloy Studios in 2015 in response to decreasing artist studio workspaces throughout the region. Since then, the studio has been growing. Emergent Effect showcases the work of the studio's individual artists and highlights shared meaning and shared ideas through the artwork of artists who work across from each other.

Please join us at the opening reception, which is free to the public, on January 13, 6:00pm - 9:00pm.
