Preview fullsizerender

Kudos are given this day to Art Education Pre-service Educators Carlee Sharma (left) and Courtney Miller (right). These two women took the initiative and completed the work necessary to reactivate the National Art Education Association Student Chapter. Miller will serve as President and Sharma will serve as Vice President for two semesters as they work to grow membership and make professional connections between visual art education, EMU, and the Ypsilanti community. Involvement in the NAEA Student Chapter will allow art education majors to organize volunteer projects, host local speakers, plan arts related road trips, and raise funds to attend the National Art Education Association Conference held each Spring. If you are an art educator and want to be part of this professional community then please visit the student group webpage for meeting times and a list of ways to get involved: (The site is one day old, so you might want to wait a week.)
