Please join us on Thurs. 4-7 pm for a reception for New Fiber 2010!

New Fiber 2010 is curated by Tracy Krumm and is a juried show that features a broad range of fiber art including textiles rooted in traditional processes and materials as well as new new approaches to fiber that include more sculptural practices such as conceptual and installation art. A collaboration with Fiber Arts Network (FAN) and juried from a national pool of over 400 entries, the show includes a catalog and three awards with a top prize of $1000.

Exhibition: Michael Reedy at the Foundry Art Centre

The Foundry Art Centre is an exciting and dynamic education, visual and performing arts center for the entire greater St. Charles/St. Louis Community. The Art Centre is presenting the works of Tim Black, Cshritopher Lowrance, Michael Reedy, and Mike Sleadd in a Group Four exhibition in Gallery III from October 15th until December 3rd 2010. Exhibition: Amy Sacksteder Solo Exhibition at Northeastern Illinois University's Fine Arts Center Gallery

We are running…

The work included in this project is derived from the last moments of Amelia Earhart’s life and is used as a springboard to examine and confront mortality. The title is an excerpt of Earhart’s last words. The work is also influenced by the artists’s June 2010 residency in Iceland.
