Exhibition: Ryan Molloy and Amy Sacksteder in Sub Terrain at Work Gallery


Faculty members Ryan Molloy and Amy Sacksteder are currently featured in the exhibition Sub Terrain at Work Gallery in Ann Arbor.

Curated by Andrew Thompson, Sub Terrain is an all-media exhibition that invited artists to give vision to the invisible and explore the landscape of the immaterial and its convergence with the physical realm. The exhibition continues through October 5.

Exhibition: John DeHoog at ArtPrize 2010


ArtPrize 2010, a national competition, turns the city of Grand Rapids into an art gallery from September 22 to October 6. Over 1700 artists from around the country exhibit their work at hundreds of venues around the city. EMU art Professor John DeHoog is showing a new sculpture, Half-Truth, in the atrium at Kendall College of Art and Design. The public is invited to vote for their favorite artworks, and awards (including a $250000 top prize) are determined by popular vote. Come to Grand Rapids to participate!

Exhibition: The Michigan Comics Show


“Michigan Comics: Mirth, Mockery and Mayhem,” is an excellent introduction to the works of contemporary cartoon and comic creators who have their roots in Michigan. This traveling exhibition from Eastern Michigan University was co-curated by Richard Rubenfeld and Dave Coverly.
